The Gokseong melon has been produced under optimal conditions such as clean water, air, organic matter-rich soil, and abundant sunshine of Seomjin river, so it is a Gokseong-gun’s representative fruit, which gains huge popularity among domestic and overseas consumers thanks to an excellent fragrance, sugar content, and tender flesh.

In addition, having a strong fragrance unique to a muskmelon, Gokseong melon is worked to sort out a melon with clear net and high sugar content of over 13 brix using a cutting-edge non-destructive sugar content tester and is produced and released by GAP (Good Agricultural Practice)-certified commercial farms based on strict quality control standard.
