• 2.4Ghz
2.4Hhz Module is a modem for short-range wireless communication using the
2.4GHz ISM (Industry-Science-Medical) band, which has a communication speed of up to 500kbps for data communication, and can be used in various fields due to its low current consumption. The communication distance is about 50~200 meters at 10mW output.
Communication modems that use the same band include WiFi and Zigbee, and can be applied to sensor networks, home networking, and active tags. It is suitable for systems that require low current consumption because it has a short sleep-wakeup time and does not require a separate time for network formation in the case of 1:1 or 1:n communication.
It is currently used in wireless tags, keeper terminals (location information collection devices), AMR (Auto Meter Reading), home networking, etc.
• Zigbee
ZigBee is a standard technology (IEEE 802.15) for communicating in a personal area network using small, low-power digital radios.
It operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band and utilizes a mesh network to provide low-power, wide-range communication.
It has a transmission rate of up to 250 kbps and is best suited for data transmission in applications requiring long battery life and security, periodic or intermittent data transmission, or simple signal transmission such as sensors and input devices.
Applications include wireless light switches, remote meter reading, home automation, and personal and industrial devices.
It provides security using 128-bit symmetric key encryption. The communication distance is about 10 to 100 meters.
